云南大学2019年云南省政府奖学金招生简章

一、招生范围

包括学历教育和非学历教育。学历教育包括博士、硕士、学士,非学历教育包括汉语进修生。

二、招生国别

以南亚、东南亚国家为主,兼顾其他国家。

三、申请条件

1. 非中国籍公民,身体健康。

2. 学历和年龄要求:

(1)来华读本科者,须具有高中毕业学历,成绩优秀,年龄不超过25周岁;

(2)来华攻读硕士学位者,须具有学士学位,年龄不超过35周岁;

(3)来华攻读博士学位者,须具有硕士学位,年龄不超过40周岁;

(4)作为汉语进修生来华学习者,须具有高中毕业以上学历,年龄不超过35周岁。

四、申请流程

1.申请者须如实填写《云南省政府奖学金申请表》。

2. 将申请材料纸质版于2019年4月1日前寄达我校国际学院外联部办公室,逾期不予受理。

五、申请材料

以下申请材料需一式两份:

1.《云南省政府奖学金申请表》(由云南省教育厅统一印制)原件及复印件各一份,用中文或英文填写;

2. 经过公证的最高学历证明;如申请人为在校学生或已就业,需另外提交本人就读学校出具的在学证明或就业单位出具的在职证明;中英文以外文本需附中文或英文的译文;

3. HSK的成绩单;

4. 经过公证的高中会考成绩单(申请读本科者)或学习成绩单(其它类别学生);中英文以外文本需附中文或英文的译文;

5. 学习、研究计划(本科生不少于300字,进修生不少于400字,研究生不少于500字),用中文或英文书写;

6. 申请攻读硕士、博士学位者和申请作为研究学者来华学习者,须提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信,用中文或英文书写;

7. 在中国境内申请硕士、博士研究生奖学金者,须出具我校录取通知书;

8. 申请学习音乐专业的学生须提交本人作品的盒式录音带1盘;申请学习美术专业的学生,须提供本人作品的彩色照片6张(2张素描画,2张色彩画,2张其它作品);

9. 《外国人体格检查记录》(由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制)复印件;用英文填写;申请人须严格按照《外国人体格检查记录》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效。鉴于检查结果有效期为6个月,请申请人据此确定本人进行体检的时间。

以上材料请按上述顺序在左上角装订成册(一式两册)。无论录取与否,申请材料均不返还。

六、录取及通知

1. 云南大学将组织专家对申请人的申请材料进行评审,遴选出拟录取人选,并上报云南省教育厅,对符合条件者,择优录取。

2. 7月初,云南大学向奖学金获得者寄发《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》(JW201表)及《入学指南》等录取材料。

3. 奖学金获得者原则上不得变更学习专业及学习期限。

4. 不能按录取期限来华学习者,奖学金资格不予保留。

ADMISSION FORYUNNAN PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

I. Admission Category

Full-time Degree Students (Bachelor’s,Master’s and PhD. Degree ) and Scholars in Chinese Language.

II. Admission Country

Mainly opening to South Asia and Southeast Asia countries, applicants from other countries are also welcome.

III.Application Requirements

1. Non-Chinese and being in good health.

2.Bachelor’s degree program applicants must hold High School Graduation Certification and be under the age of 25.

3.Master’s degree program applicants must hold Bachelor’s Degree and be under the age of 35 .

4.PhD. degree program applicants must hold Master’s Degree and be under the age of 40.

5.Applicants for Scholars in Chinese Language should hold High School Graduation Certification, and be under the age of 35.

IV. ApplicationProcedure

1.Applicants should complete the Application Form of Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship Program.

2.Please mail the hard-copy materials to the office of international relations, School of International Education, Yunnan University before 1st April, 2019. Late applications are not acceptable.

V. Application Materials

1.The original copy and photocopyof Application Form of Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship Program, complete in Chinese or English.

2.Copy of the applicant's highest academic degree certificatenotarized by a publicnotary. Those who are currently studying in a college or university are required to provide certification of their student status (provided by the college or university). Those who are employed after graduation are required to provide certification of their employment status (provided by their employer). Certificates/certifications written in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English Version.

3.Photocopy of valid HSK transcript.

4.Photocopy of the High School Graduate Test transcript(for those apply for undergraduate courses) oracademic transcript (for students apply for other categories),notarized by a public notary.Materials written in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English Version.

5.Study or research planwirittenin English or Chinese (300 words or above for Bachelor’s Degree applicants, 400 words or above for Master’s Degree applicants, 500 words or above for PhD. Degree applicants).

6. Two Recommendation Letters (written in Chinese or English). Applicants must submit two recommendation letters signed by professor or associate professor.

7. Admission offer letter of Yunnan University.If the applicants are currently studying in China.

8. CD of your own works (only required from arts students).Applicants for music studies are requested to submit a CD of their own musical works. Applicants for the fine arts programs must submit a CD of their own works which include two sketches, two color paintings and two other works.

9.Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form(please only hand in a photocopy and keep the original version with you). This form is released by China's quarantine authority. The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.

Notes: Please bind all the required materials on top left in the listed order 1 to 9. TWO sets of bound materials should be submitted. YNU will not return any submitted materials regardless the final admission condition.

VI. Admission and Notification

1. After assessment by experts from Yunnan University, the documents of qualified applicants will be delivered to the Education Department of Yunnan Province, it is a merit-based enrollment.

2. Admission offer letter, Visa Application for Study in China (JW201 Form), and Registration Guide will be mailed to scholarship recipient at the beginning of July.

3. Scholarship recipients shall not change their field of study or duration of study unless they give up the grant.

4. Scholarship will not be reserved if its scholarship recipient cannot register before the registration deadline.
