一、资助对象
1．非中国籍人士；
2．身体健康，品学兼优；
3．有志于从事汉语教育、教学及汉语国际推广相关工作；
年龄一般在16至35周岁之间（在职汉语教师可放宽至45周岁，本科奖学金申请者一般不超过25岁）。

三、资助内容
1.孔子学院全额奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、综合医疗保险和生活费（四周研修生除外）。本科生、一学年和一学期研修生的生活费发放标准为：2500元人民币/月；汉语国际教育专业硕士生为3000元人民币/月。
2.住宿由云南大学为获奖学生免费提供宿舍；奖学金生如选择校外住宿，则需向学校提出申请，获批后由学校按月或按季度发放住宿费700元人民币/月/人。
3．汉语国际教育硕士、一学年进修生、一学期研修生和南亚师资班在结业前须参加一次汉语水平（HSK）考试和一次汉语水平口语考试（HSKK），考试费用由学校在奖学金生培养经费中报销。
4.奖学金生按学校每学期规定报到日期到校注册学籍，否则取消奖学金资格。
5.奖学金生当月15日（含15日）到校注册者，该月发放全月生活费；十五日以后注册者，该月发放半月生活费；毕（结）业生的生活费发放至学校确定的毕（结）业日期后的半个月。
6.奖学金生在学期间（正常假期外）因个人原因离开中国时间超过15天，即停发离华期间生活费；因个人原因休学、退学、发生严重违纪违规事故者，停发生活费。
四、申请流程
1.在线申请
2019年3月1日起，申请者可以登录奖学金网站(http://cis.chinese.cn)，注册、填写《孔子学院奖学金申请表》并附上有关证明材料电子扫描件。
2.联系并选择推荐机构
申请者登录孔子学院奖学金网站，查询和选择推荐机构
3.推荐机构审核并推荐合格学生至云南大学，由云南大学审核入学资格，择优预录取。
4．汉办集中评审，择优录取。评审结果一般在入学前2个月发布。
5．云南大学与学生确认留学意向后，在15个工作日内将《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）等寄达推荐机构。
6.获奖者可在线打印获奖证书；按规定时间来云南大学注册学籍后享受孔子学院奖学金待遇。
7.学历生参阅《孔子学院奖学金年度评审办法》，在第一学期末接受考核。
五、申请材料
推荐机构需对申请者护照用名完整、国籍无误、永久通信地址真实有效等情况进行审核。以下证明材料如非中文或英文版本，需提供相应的公证文件。
1. 护照照片页扫描件。
2. 未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。
3. HSK、HSKK成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。
4. 推荐机构负责人签发的推荐信。
5. 经过公证的最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和在校学习成绩单。
6. 汉语国际教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先录取。
六、申请截止日期：
1．4月20日（暑期4周项目）。
2．5月20日（9月入学）。
3．9月20日（12月入学）。
4．11月20日（2020年3月入学）。

ADMISSION FOR CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
I. Qualification of candidate
1.Non-Chinese citizens.
2.Applicants should be in good physical and mental health, have good character and excellent academic performance.
3. Applicants are interested in engaging in Chinese Language Education, teaching activities and international works related to Chinese languagepromotion.
4.Applicants' age limit should be between 16-35 years old. Current Chinese language teachers' age limit could be up to 45years old, applicants for BTCSOL scholarship should be younger than 25 years old.

III. Scholarship coverage
1. Full Confucius Institute Scholarship includes: tuition fee, accommodation fee, living allowance (except four weeks scholarship students) and comprehensive insurance for foreign students studying in china. Living allowance standard is as follows:
a) CNY2, 500 for Bachelor's Degree Students, One-Academic Year students and One-Semester Students.
b) CNY3, 000 for Master's Degree Students.
2.Yunnan University provides free dormitory for the students. Students who choose to live off-campus would be given accommodation fee of 700 Yuan /month/person monthly or quarterly after approval.
3.MTCSOL one-academic-year students and one-semester students must attend a Chinese proficiency test (HSK) and a Chinese speaking test (HSKK)before graduation, the school will get the reimbursement of examination fee from scholarship students' training funds.
4.Scholarship students are required to register at the school on time, otherwise their scholarship qualification will be canceled.
5.The students who are enrolled before or on the 15th day of that month (including the 15th day) will receive the full monthly living expenses. Later than 15th day, thenthe amount will be halved. Living expenses of the graduates shall be distributed to the school for half a month after the date of graduation.
6. Scholarship recipients who leave China more than 15 days for personal reasons would have no living allowance during the departure periodliving allowance would be unpaid to the students who quit or drop out of school because of personal reasons or serious disciplinary violations.
IV. The Application Procedure
1. Online Application
From March 1st, 2019, Applicants can register online on the Confucius Institute Scholarship website and fill in the “Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form”, and upload electronic scanned copies of the supporting documents,
2. Contact and select the recommending institutions
Applicants can visit the Confucius institute scholarship website to search and select the recommending institutions.
3. Recommending institutions will review and recommend the qualified students to Yunnan University. Yunnan University will in charge of examining the admission qualifications of applicants and conducts merit-based pre-admission.
4. Hanban will conduct an overall assessment of all applications and admit applicants on the basis of competitive selection. Normally, the admission results will be announced two months before the admission date.
5. After confirming the intention of studying abroad, our school will post the Admission offer letter and JW202 Form and other admission materials to the recommending institutions.
6. Students can print the scholarship certificate online. Scholarship owners can only receivethe scholarship treatment after they come to Yunnan University and register on time.
7. According to the <Confucius scholarship Annual Evaluation Method>, Degreestudent should be assessed at the end of the first term.
V. Application Materials
Recommending institutions need to complete the whole application procedure and make sure the name, nationality and permanent address of the applicant is correct. If the following documents are not in Chinese or English, notarization documents should be provided.
1) Scanned copy of passport photo page.
2)Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit proof of entrustment signed by a guardian in China.
3)Scanned copy of HSK, HSKK transcript report (valid for two years).
4)Recommendation letter signed by the head of the recommending institutions.
5)Notarized the highest diploma certificate (or scheduled graduation proof) and academic transcript.
6)The MTCSOL Scholarship applicants are required to submit two reference letters from professors or associate professors(in Chinese or English).Applicants who can provide the work agreement after graduation from teaching institutions are preferred.
VI. Application deadline:
1. For four-week students in summer vacation, the application deadline is 20th April.
2. For students entering on September, the application deadline is 20th May.
3. For students entering on December, the application deadline is 20th September.
4. For students entering on March, 2020, the application deadline is 20th November.
